MEGAN NOWOTNY (BBus, CPA)
Founder & Director
Megan founded Constructiv Accounting to provide growing businesses with the financial support and expertise of a full-time team, without the associated overheads.
After two decades in commercial accounting and finance (construction, tourism, plant hire, facilities management services and more), she saw how clear reporting and strong three-way forecasts help SME owners make confident decisions and instil confidence in financiers.
Today, Megan focuses on business development and partnerships, bringing her straight-talking, down-to-earth style to every client relationship.
With a CPA, a Bachelor of Business and a curiosity for how different industries operate, she quickly learns what drives a business, turning numbers into meaningful insights.
Outside of Constructiv, you’ll find Megan courtside - she’s the treasurer and a board member for WA Netball League’s Peel Lightning netball club - or planning her next overseas adventure.
LISA IVIC (BCOM, MBA)
General Manager & Management Accountant
Lisa oversees Constructiv’s day-to-day operations and team while diving deep into client files, cleaning data, building three-way forecasts, and supporting them through everything from month-end reporting and analysis to bank negotiations.
With a career that began in reception and progressed through accounts payable to finance manager and CFO roles, she brings a grounded, “bottom-up” understanding to everything she does. Her experience spans industries including energy, IT, mining services, facility management services, auto electrical and plant hire.
Lisa is a skilled data analyst with an eye for detail, known for her process-oriented thinking and methodical approach. She’s experienced in systems implementation and offers SME owners clarity, structure, and strategy that moves their business forward.
Outside of work, Lisa can be found caravanning with her family - fishing rod in hand, or baking her signature carrot cake to perfection.
AMANDA HUNT (BCOM, CPA)
Senior Management Accountant
Amanda brings a blend of commercial insight, lived business experience and technical expertise to her work with Constructiv.
With a career that has taken her from public practice to the U.S., into commercial sectors, including owning a franchise during the GFC, and back to Australia, she understands the real-world pressures of running a business.
As a CPA-qualified management accountant, Amanda partners with clients to ensure they are financially ready for what’s next: forecasting, budgeting, managing daily cash flow, and problem-solving. She’s known for her can-do attitude, commitment to client success, and ability to add value when it’s needed most.
Amanda has worked across government, NFPs, schools, software, and equipment hire, bringing a diverse software skillset to each engagement. She thrives on the variety each client brings and loves being part of a collaborative, people-first team.
When she’s not balancing budgets, Amanda’s with her three kids at sport, camping up north, or cheering on the Fremantle Dockers and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Paul Protti
Assistant Accountant
With nearly thirty years of experience in accounts, Paul supports a diverse mix of clients across payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, BAS lodgements, and month-end reporting, always with an eye for detail and a dose of empathy.
He’s worked across aged care, construction, family-owned businesses, and national companies, picking up a wide range of systems knowledge and people skills along the way. His background means he can adapt to any challenge and quickly build trust with clients.
Paul values Constructiv’s down-to-earth culture, the team’s collaborative, supportive approach, and the diversity of knowledge shared across the group.
Outside of work, Paul can be found escaping the city — road-tripping through WA’s cooler regions, bushwalking, or discovering the next great meal in a small country town (and gladly contributing to the local economy while he’s there).
tanya scott
Bookkeeper
Tanya may be the newest member of our team, but she brings decades of experience in finance and bookkeeping. She’s known for creating efficient systems, tidying up messy books, and educating clients along the way.
She works closely with businesses across various sectors, including civil, finance broking, coral exporting, and videography, managing everything from payroll to accounts payable and receivable. Her background spans surveyors, local government, oil and drilling, universities, and more.
Tanya has worn many hats — including Office Manager — and once transformed a literal box of receipts into such a pristine set of books that the client’s accountant offered her a job on the spot.
She thrives in Constructiv’s collaborative, down-to-earth environment and enjoys helping clients feel more confident in their finances.
Outside of work, you’ll find Tanya sewing for her hobby business, planning her next caravan trip, riding her Indian Scout motorbike, or hanging out with her Maltese Shih Tzu, Wookie.
ALISHA COX
Assistant Accountant & Chief “Functions” Officer
Alisha keeps client accounts (and Constructiv’s social calendar) running like clockwork.
After working in the automotive industry in various bookkeeping and administrative roles, she joined Constructiv in 2024. She quickly immersed herself in construction and wholesale finance – discovering a knack for identifying issues before they arise and delivering clear, practical solutions.
Highly organised and proactive, Alisha is known for “just getting things done.” Clients love that she can untangle problems, streamline processes, and often provide the answer before they even ask the question.
She thrives in Constructiv’s flexible, non-corporate culture: autonomous when needed, collaborative when it counts, and is always energised by the diversity of her clients.
Outside of work, you’ll find Alisha spending time with the people she loves and cares about, attending festivals, cooking and exploring new foods, and generally making sure no weekend is ever left unbooked.
